Behind the Blades: How Two Brothers Set Out to Fix the Wiper Buying Experience
It all started with a simple question: Why is buying windshield wipers such a pain?
A few years ago, we were just two brothers, trying to replace the wipers on our own cars. What should have taken five minutes turned into two hours of Googling blade sizes, fumbling with weird adapters, and standing in the auto parts aisle with zero confidence we had the right fit.
We couldn’t believe how needlessly complicated it was. And we kept coming back to the same idea: Why can’t this be easier?
The Big Idea: No Guessing, No Measuring, No Hassle
We realized the process was broken. Most people don’t know their blade sizes (why would they?), and every vehicle seems to use a slightly different mounting system. Online fitment guides were clunky. In-store options were limited. And even when you thought you had the right blades, installing them could feel like solving a puzzle in the rain.
So we built Windy — a simpler way to buy wipers that actually fit.
From Frustration to Function
We started by creating a database of exact-fit wiper blades based on year, make, and model. No measuring. No part numbers. Just input your car, and we handle the rest.
We made sure every blade ships with the correct adapter already attached. The goal: Install it in 30 seconds or less. No tools, no guesswork, no YouTube tutorials.
Today, our mission is simple: Make wipers easy.
We’re Not a Big Auto Brand — and That’s the Point
We’re not a massive company. We don’t sell motor oil, jumper cables, or fuzzy dice. We just sell really good wipers, and we work hard to make sure they get to you fast, fit your vehicle perfectly, and actually work when you need them most.
We’re proud of what we’ve built, and we’re just getting started. Whether you’re driving through a downpour or brushing off winter frost, we want you to have a clear view, every time.
Thanks for being part of the ride.
